The home owner wanted to renovate this bathroom that was last decorated in the 80's. They wanted to updated the fixtures, make the room brighter and feel larger, and replace standard bathtub with a deeper soaking bathtub.

Project Spotlight: Basement Remodel adding a new bathroom

The homeowner wanted to add to the living space of their home by remodeling a portion of the basement. They wanted the area to be finished, have better storage, have a more useful laundry area and they wanted to add a bathroom, while keeping the natural light from the existing window.

Working through several versions of layout with the homeowner, our solution was to move the laundry and add a bathroom in a spot to capture the natural light coming into the basement. The before and after photos were taken from the same spot, turning from left to right.
